Now that he's retired, Shaquille O'Neal has become a full-time media personality. Sure, that's basically been his primary job over the last few years anyway, but with no basketball to distract him, he can spend all his time focusing on being the best celebrity he can be. For the most part, that will involve cracking wise with Charles Barkley on the "Inside the NBA" set while Kenny Smith wonders if he'll ever get a word in.
This development means that Shaq is making the rounds on various television shows, no matter the venue. So, as you can see above, the Big Tapout recently visited the set of "Inside MMA" on HDNet to talk about basketball, fighting, and the intersection of same. He also listed the five players he'd most like to fight: Charles Oakley, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, Xavier McDaniel and Danny Ainge. It's a good list, although that last choice suggests that Shaq didn't enjoy his lone season in Boston very much.
However, Shaq seems to have a poor memory, because he did in fact fight Barkley more than a decade ago. I guess he just really wants to do it again.
