Miles Davis and John Lennon never collaborated, musically. And though we're massive fans of both, we're not entirely sure we'd enjoy collaboration between the two (especially during Miles' early 1970s phase). But that didn't preclude the two musical giants from hanging out, and possibly engaging in a game of 21 in Lennon's driveway.
Sharebro Bethlehem Shoals recently re-introduced us to this 40-year-old clip of a soiree at Lennon's England estate, fresh with clips of Andy Warhol hanging around, Lennon's famous psychedelic Rolls-Royce, and shots of Miles and Lennon shooting hoops. Though neither appear to be any good at the sport, you can probably tell who would be the lesser of two evils:
Set to the tune of Lennon's infamous putdown of Paul McCartney -- "How Do You Sleep" -- the images are a little off-putting but pretty hep nevertheless.
