Robert Traylor passes away at the age of 34

Sad news Wednesday out of Puerto Rico, as the Vaqueros de Bayamo basketball club has announced the death of former NBA player Robert "Tractor" Traylor. Traylor was found dead in his hotel room at the age of 34.

Traylor hadn't played in the NBA since a heart scare in 2005 made an already-nervous league wary of his conditioning. Because we don't know the circumstances surrounding his passing, it's probably best just to reflect on some of the better parts of his career (at his best, he was a talented player in the low post, with smart passing and scoring skills), and possibly read this 2007 column on Traylor's travails from Yahoo!
