Video: Sasha Pavlovic completely erases Sebastian Telfair

Here are three inarguable facts about Sasha Pavlovic (and seriously, I am an authority on that which is inarguable, so you better not argue):

1. He recently became a member of the New Orleans Hornets, signing a 10-day contract with the injury-plagued team after averaging just over four points and one rebound per game during a 10-game stint with the then-injury-plagued Dallas Mavericks last month;

2. The 27-year-old Montenegrin has accumulated just 78 blocked shots during an NBA career that has spanned eight seasons and 464 games (an average of 0.2 blocks per game played);

3. Despite this, if you called up league vagabond/reserve Minnesota Timberwolves guard Sebastian Telfair this morning and asked him to name the NBA's most intimidating shotblocker, he'd have to let the name "Sasha Pavlovic" slip loose from his lips.

Here's one more inarguable fact, tossed in gratis for our trusting, loving readers. If your mind's eye conjures up the image of Bassy's billion-years-ago SI cover while your eye's eye watches this forceful at-the-rim rebuke from the first quarter of the Wolves' solid 104-92 road victory over the Hornets in New Orleans, you can actually hear a red dwarf star die out. Science is sad sometimes.
