For sale: Lego NBA players from 2002

There seems to be an Etsy site for just about anything, these days. If you want to buy a cast-iron bunny rabbit or some salted maple-syrup butter candy, this place is the site for you. If you want to buy some vintage clothes that my wife is selling, there you go.

And if you'd like to buy a key chain (or, why not, a necklace) featuring a Lego likeness of Antoine Walker, then have we got the site for you.

Via SteadyBurn, a gentleman can sell you the Lego versions of Antoine Walker, Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady (as a member of the Orlando Magic) and Vince Carter (not as a member of the Orlando Magic) for 12 bucks a pop.

I don't know why all the available Lego men are from the year 2002, but that's how things move in Lego Land. Tracy never lost his hops, Antoine never lost his shimmy, and Vince never lost his nerve.

Laker-era Shaquille O'Neal and Maverick-era Steve Nash are available too, as are a whole host of generic players in NBA uniforms that all sort of look like Zaza Pachulia.

To me, it's the perfect gift for a father that has long thought that he'd never have to blindly step on a Lego piece in the middle of the night again.
